The Speaker ruled that Amendment No. 1 was in order, citing Section 402 of Mason's Manual. The Speaker placed a call of the House. Amendment to Amendment No. 1 was offered by Representative Brice: After "staffed", delete "by employees working" Representative Brice moved and asked unanimous consent that the amendment to Amendment No. 1 be adopted. Representative Vezey objected. The call was satisfied. The question being: "Shall the amendment to Amendment No. 1 be adopted?" The Speaker stated that SB 242 am H will be in third reading on the March 21, 1994, calendar.
